For Mooie Woorden’s program De Tikkende Tijd, I filmed and edited two episodes of the trilogy Het Midden and Het Einde, capturing the energy, emotion, and raw humanity of each performance. Both aftermovies were crafted to tell cinematic stories while delivering multi-format results, horizontal, vertical, and social-ready edits ready for promotional use across platforms.
The Concept
De Tikkende Tijd (The Ticking Time) explores life’s stages through three episodes: beginning, middle, and end. The series examines identity, digital life, and mortality, inviting audiences to reflect on the passage of time, personal growth, and the fleeting nature of existence.

This episode focuses on the complexities of identity, digital life, and the ambiguous “middle” chapter of adulthood the space between youth and the inevitable future. I combined dynamic event coverage with live artist soundbites, weaving performances into a cohesive narrative that reflects the show’s exploration of self in both physical and digital worlds.
