De Liefde-Trilogie

For Mooie Woorden, I worked as a videographer and editor on De Liefde Trilogy, a three-part live program exploring different forms of love through spoken word, performance, music, and storytelling.

The trilogy looks at love in all its contradictions and shapes: how we relate to others, how friendship holds a central place in our lives, and how we struggle with self-love. Across three evening programs in Stadsklooster Utrecht (2026), the series reflects on intimacy, identity, and the emotional complexity of modern relationships.

My role was to capture each live evening and translate it into a cinematic aftermovie series. The goal was not just documentation, but turning each chapter into a narrative film that reflects the emotional tone, energy, and rhythm of the night. Each aftermovie is designed as part of a cohesive trilogy, while still standing on its own as a complete story. All deliverables were also adapted into multi-format outputs (horizontal, vertical, social cuts) for promotional use across platforms.

*The first chapter has been completed and released, while the remaining two chapters will follow after their respective live events in September and December 2026.

Chapter #1

Ja, hokjes zijn overzichtelijk, but have you ever tried doing wat je zelf wil?

📍 22 May 2026 – Stadsklooster Utrecht

This first chapter explores how we define relationships outside of traditional frameworks. It questions the default narrative of “one path fits all” and opens up space for alternative ways of loving, connecting, and existing in relationships.

The aftermovie focuses on identity, freedom, and resistance to expectation, blending spoken word, live performance, and audience energy into a cinematic flow.
